Joe Kilcoyne

Joe Kilcoyne is an American heavy metal musician formerly of the Cleveland, Ohio alternative metal band Mushroomhead. Joe was the band's original bass player and went by the name Mr. Murdernickel. His brother (Jack Kilcoyne) joined the band and took the name "Pig Benis". He was also the bass player of the now disbanded Cleveland Power/Thrash metal act Mystik, and before that was the original bass player the Cleveland punk rock act Joe Gizmo and the Spudmonsters and finally the Spudmonsters.

Mr. Kilcoyne played several of the opening songs as Mr. Murdernickel at Mushroomhead's annual Old School show at Peabody's Downunder in Cleveland, OH on July 5, 2008 before his brother came on as Pig benis to play the remainder of the show. This was his first time playing with the band since his departure.
