Cape Town ,South Africa .Sanccob has saved thousands ofbirds not justpenguins . Without SANCCOB many ofSouth Africa's coastals birds would be on the endangered list.Mission
"SANCCOB aims to conserve and protect
South Africa's sea birds, especially threatened species, for the benefit of present and future generations." Why? Because seabirds get caught in oil and start to die, they clean and rehabilitate them every day. SANCCOB needs everyones help so log on to sanccob site and enter to become a volunteer.Core Functions
*rehabilitate ill, injured, oiled and orphaned sea birds on a daily basis
*prepare for and manage the rehabilitation of sea birds during a major oil spill
*raise awareness about conservation through environmental education
