Admission
The admission to the ISc programme is highly competitive. Every year more than 4500 students from all over Nepal apply and only 300 of the brightest are chosen. The admission process includes a preliminary cutoff score at Grade 10 national exam, a written examination and an interview.
Discipline
St. Xavier's College has strict rules and code of conduct. The discipline is very well maitained. Students can enter and leave the campus premises at scheduled timings only. There are specified times when the ex-students can meet the teachers.
Great emphasis is laid on moral values which maintains the discipline and integrity of the students.
Clubs and Organizations
St. Xavier's College believes in overall development of the students. Various club activities provide good deal of exposure to the students and develop their leadership potentials. The various clubs and organizations in the college are

Partnership in Education
Partnership in Education (PIE) was originally launched by St. Xavier's College in partnership with Save the Children. Under this programme, students from underprivileged backgrounds studying in government schools are provided academic and extracurricular enhancement classes. Students of the college volunteer for PIE.
