Carine Adler (born 1948) is a Brazilian screenwriter and film director.

She is probably best known as the second wife of British government minister Dr. John Reid, whom she married in 2002 [cite news | url = http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/1802195.stm | title = Wedding bells beckon for NI secretary | date = 2002-02-05 | publisher = BBC News ] . She has a son Hal from a previous marriage, and has two stepsons with Dr Reid.
