Your objective in the game is to make a name of yourself out on the highways of
Tokyo . You begin as a nobody but as you progress through the game you can earn increasingly impressive nicknames, or Handles as they're called in the game.You begin the game with a small amount of money and after picking out your first car, you can hit the highway in search of rivals. After initiating a battle by flashing your high beams behind another driver, the race begins. Both you and your opponent are given lifebars which deplete as the car falls behind. A completely drained lifebar results in defeat. Victory earns you money which you can use to upgrade your car or to purchase new vehicles.
Another feature of the game is the parking lot. The parking lot is the place where you can get more info about the other racers and the crews. You can challenge a boss, time attack and access additional challenges.
The further you progress into the game, the more challenges, cars, upgrades and highways become available.
