Igwegbe Odum

Eze Igwegbe Odum (sometimes called Chief Igwebe Odum) was an Aro Igbo politician born in the Nigerian town of Arondizuogu in the late 1800s. His life story became the subject of Omenuko [http://www.njas.helsinki.fi/pdf-files/vol14num1/njoku.pdf ] the earliest Igbo novel written by Peter Nwana. Odum died in 1940.
