Orathanadu

Orathanadu is one of the eight taluks (municipal subdivisions) of the Thanjavur district in Tamil Nadu. It is located between the cities of Thanjavur and Pattukkottai. Most of the inhabitants are employed in agriculture, growing such things as ground nuts, sugar cane, and rice. M.JAGATH RATCHAGAN MTech is the leading personality from kannai west.

By bus it can be reached in 45 mins from Thanjavur
