Early life
He started his career with local side
NK Osijek in theCroatian First League . In 2005, he moved to German Bundesliga sideBayer Leverkusen , but only made one first-division appearance as a late substitute and generally played for the club's reserve squad in the Regionalliga, the third tier of German football.Dinamo Zagreb
In December 2006, it was announced that he will transfer to Croatian First League side
Dinamo Zagreb . He subsequently signed a contract until2011 with the Croatian champions and became part of their squad at the beginning of the 2007 season.On
