Gyan is the debut album by Australian singer-songwriter Gyan that was released by Warner music in 1989. The album is currently out of print; but is available to purchase via Gyan's website. The album was produced by Charles Fisher.

Three singles were released from the album; the smash hit "Wait" about a lonely girl waiting for her first true love; "It's Alright" about emancipation from ones parents and the final single "Black Wedding Ring" which closes the album. The first two singles contained rare non-album tracks as b-sides ("Love in Question" and "Don't Touch"). Wait was co-written with Geoffrey Stapleton of GANGgajang and Garry Frost of Moving Pictures and 1927.

The album received positive reviews from many critics who hailed Gyan as a new and unique talent to emerge from Australia; this was further cemented by Gyan's ARIA Award for Best New Talent in 1990.
