John Edward Lawson (born 1974) is an American author of horror fiction and poetry as well as an editor and publisher. His work is often associated with Bizarro fiction, which encompasses many writing styles and oeuvres yet is invariably alternative, avant-garde and transgressive. Editor-in-chief of Raw Dog Screaming Press, one of Bizarro's leading publishers, Lawson is a Pushcart Prize and Bram Stoker Award nominee.
