Skogn

Skogn

Skogn is a former municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway.

It was created as Skogn formannskapsdistrikt in 1837. In 1874 two uninhabited parts of Skogn were moved to the neighboring municipality Frol by royal resolution.

On 1 January 1962 Skogn was reincorporated into Levanger municipality. Prior to the merger Skogn had a population of 4,756.
