Marian Ognyanov (Bulgarian: Мариян Огнянов) (born 30 July 1988) is a Bulgarian footballer from Romani descent. He is currently playing for PFC Levski Sofia.

Career

PFC Levski Sofia

Ognyanov has been playing for Levski Sofia since 2004. On 27 September 2006, Ognyanov scored the first goal of a Bulgarian team in the UEFA Champions League during Levski Sofia's 1-3 defeat by Chelsea F.C. at home.

Until 2007/2008, has played mainly as a substitute. Anyway after the biggest clearance sale at the winter transfer season, until the 2007/2008 season, Ognyanov started to play often.

He has been loaned since 27 January 2009 by PFC Belasitsa Petrich. He played for Belasitsa until the end of 08/09 season. Ognyanov scored a goal for Belasitsa on 10 May 2009 against Lokomotiv Sf. Despite this, the result of the match was 2:4 with a home lose for Bela. In Belasitsa he capped 13 times and scored 3 goals. After the end of 08/09 season, Ognyanov returned to Levski Sofia.

Ognyanov re-debuted for Levski on 21 July 2009 in the second match of the 2nd Qualifying round of UEFA Champions League, where Levski beat the team of UE Sant Julià. The result of the match was 0:5 with an away win for Levski. Ognyanov scored two of the goals in the 23rd and the 39th minute.
