The Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology Students' Union, or GMITSU, is a students' union representing the students of the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, that comprises five campuses spanning the two counties of Galway and Mayo in the West of Ireland. All registered student of GMIT are automatically members of the union and are entitled to avail of the services it provides.

The union was established around the same time as the then Regional Technical College Galway in 1972 and has expanded to represent the students of the four new campuses that have been added to the college over the past thirty years.

The union is run on a day to day basis by two full time elected sabbatical officers; a President and a Deputy President. A third sabbatical officer, the Vice President/Site President is responsible for implementing union policy on the Castlebar Campus of the Institute. The union also employs a number of full time staff including an Administrator, an office manager and several other staff who run the various services it operates on campus. These services include a stationery shop, a fitness suite and photocopying and binding services administered through the main union office.
