VIVIDEO is an independent Dutch news source for Catholic opinion, news, movies and photos. It is active within the Catholic youth work in the Netherlands.

The Name

The name VIVIDEO (written as "V!V!DEO") refers to the Latin words 'vivi' and 'deo', which means 'living' in 'God'. A second meaning is 'video', since videos that are published. Finally the word 'vivid' refers to a characteristic aspect of the target group: the youth.
