Jake Richardson (born 22 October 1987 in Watford, England) is a football midfielder who is currently a free agent.
Richardson was originally part of the youth set-up at Sunderland, but was released by the club when his contract expired in summer 2006.
After unsuccessful trials with Coventry City, Hartlepool United and York City, Richardson was re-signed by the club on a professional deal in September 2006.
Richardson's father, Kevin, was reserve team coach at Sunderland until December 2007.
In June 2008, Richardson was released by Sunderland once again.
