Paul Galvin is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Kerry, Feale Rangers and Finuge GAA. He is the current Kerry captain. Galvin is also a club-level hurler and a schoolteacher. Playing career

Paul Galvin has won the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship with Kerry on three occasions. His first victorious final saw Kerry beat Mayo comfortably in 2004. The second, in 2006, saw another drubbing of Mayo. Paul Galvin was on the winning side for Kerry in the National Football League competitions of 2004 and 2006. Galvin received an All-Star in 2004 for his performances in Kerry's all-Ireland win and again in 2006, being the 1,000th all-star recipient.

Galvin is known for his suspect temperament as well as his footballing ability. He also won the 2007 Kerry Senior Football Championship with the Feale Rangers divisional side.

Galvin was appointed as Kerry captain for the 2008 championship. After an incident during a game in June, he received a six-month suspension. Galvin is also a successful hurler with the Lixnaw club having won 3 Kerry Senior Hurling Championships in 1999, 2005 and 2007.He also won an All Ireland with the Kerry Vocational Schools team in 1997
