"Hometime" is a long running PBS home improvement television show produced by Hometime Video Publishing, Chaska, Minnesota, in association with WHYY-TV Philadelphia/Wilmington, Delaware and broadcast on public television and in syndication. It first aired in 1986. In the 1990's, "Hometime" aired on TLC (The Learning Channel).

Hometime demonstrates both do it yourself and contractor performed projects, ranging from simple weekend projects to complete homes. "Hometime" episodes have covered many aspects of home construction and maintenance.

Hosts

The show is currently hosted by Dean Johnson and Miriam Johnson (while they share the same last name, they are not related).

Although Dean Johnson has continuously hosted the show since its inception, there have been five co-hosts:
* Peggy Knapp (1986-1987)
* JoAnne (JoJo) Liebeler (1987–1992) She later hosted and executive produced her own show, "Home Savvy", which aired on TLC from 1997 through 2000. Liebeler also hosted HGTV's "Room for Change" from 2002 to 2004, and had a featured project on the 2006–2007 season of "Hometime".
* Susanne Egli (1992–1993)
* Robin Hartl (1993–2005) She has recently appeared in infomercials for the Little Giant Ladder with actor Richard Karn and the Worx GT lawn trimmer and edger. Hartl now works in the Twin Cities at the Anoka Design Studio as an American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) designer; assisting builders and their customers pick out designs and finish materials for their new homes, additions, and remodels.
* Miriam Johnson (2005–present) She is not related to show host/creator Dean Johnson, and hosted through her recent pregnancy with daughter Sula Catherine. Johnson and her husband Paul recently finished an extensive renovation of their 80-year-old home.
