The show is currently hosted by Dean Johnson and
Miriam Johnson (while they share the same last name, they are not related).Although Dean Johnson has continuously hosted the show since its inception, there have been five co-hosts:
*Peggy Knapp (1986-1987)
* JoAnne (JoJo) Liebeler (1987–1992) She later hosted and executive produced her own show, "Home Savvy ", which aired on TLC from 1997 through 2000. Liebeler also hostedHGTV 's "Room for Change " from 2002 to 2004, and had a featured project on the 2006–2007 season of "Hometime".
*Susanne Egli (1992–1993)
* Robin Hartl (1993–2005) She has recently appeared ininfomercials for the Little Giant Ladder with actorRichard Karn and the Worx GT lawn trimmer and edger. Hartl now works in the Twin Cities at the Anoka Design Studio as anAmerican Society of Interior Designers (ASID) designer; assisting builders and their customers pick out designs and finish materials for their new homes, additions, and remodels.
*Miriam Johnson (2005–present) She is not related to show host/creator Dean Johnson, and hosted through her recent pregnancy with daughter Sula Catherine. Johnson and her husband Paul recently finished an extensive renovation of their 80-year-old home.External links
