Early life and career

Colie's only sibling, Ramón Colie is four years her junior. Her mother, Juliet McDaniel Colie is a Jamaican dramatist of Afro-Scottish descent. Her father, Norman Colie is of Indian descent and a Mechanical Engineer.

Colie's theatrical career spans over twenty years.

Education

Colie completed her elementary education at Mt. St. Joseph Preparatory and high school and sixth form at Manchester High, Mandeville where she was valedictorian. She attended the Jamaica School of Drama Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts for one year before matriculating to Colgate University, from which she graduated in '05 with a double major in Theatre and French.
