Rick D'Amico

Rick D’Amico is an award winning broadcaster.Fact|date=May 2007 D'Amico has won several Emmys.Fact|date=May 2007 He currently co-hosts FOX 10 Arizona Morning with Ron Hoon, Andrea Robinson, and Alexis DelChiaro and anchors FOX 10 News at Noon.

He was one of the original hosts when FOX 10 Arizona Morning debuted in the early to mid 1990's.

D'Amico came to KTSP (now KSAZ) in 1987 as a weather anchor. After receiving his meteorological certification from Mississippi State University, he was hired by CBS as the fill in weatherman on The CBS Morning News and CBS This Morning while continuing his weather duties at KSAZ.

Shortly after that, he was given a promotion. Ever since then, he is an anchor. He reported on just about everything from business news to breaking news. D'Amico was live from the Los Angeles riots, interviewed President Ronald Reagan, covered President Bill Clinton’s visits to the Southwest, and reported from New York City during the Diamondbacks/Yankees World Series.

He was awarded an Emmy for live reporting of a police chase and stand off.Fact|date=May 2007 He has also been honored with two Associated Press Awards for anchoring live news coverage.Fact|date=May 2007

D'Amico and his wife Ruth have four children, twin boys and two daughters.
