*4 January 1976 - Three Catholic civilian brothers (John Reavey (24), Brian Reavey (22) and Anthony Reavey (17)) were shot dead during an Ulster Volunteer Force gun attack on their home at Greyhillan, Whitecross. Anthony Reavey died on 30 January 1976. Kingsmill massacre perpetrated by the Provisional Irish Republican Army in retaliation.
