Chris Flesher is an American
folk art woodcarver .Chris Flesher has spent most of his artistic career as a free-lance sign painter in rural West
Tennessee . After taking up woodcarving as a hobby in 1992, he soon caught the interest of many collectors through an article in Mary Emmerling's Country Magazine. As result of his creativity and funky style, Flesher has sold his works all across theUnited States and in several other countries. In addition to being displayed in theAmerican Folk Art Museum inNew York City , and the finest galleries in Carmel, Chris' folksy woodcarvings have become personal collectors items in many homes. Inspired by the true mountain craftsmen of theSmoky Mountains , where he spent his vacations as a child, he continues to carry on the traditions of those craftsmens with great attention to detail. Now after several years as a woodcarver, Chris has, for a couple of years, been an understudy of Emilia Castillo, world renowned silversmith andjewelry designer . Chris has started his ownjewelry line that will be marketed on-line exclusively. The same attention to detail that made him a world renowned folk artist is now directed to the jewelry designs.Chris Flesher is also known for his website design capabilities and has developed Websites for many other people with much success.
