binomial_authority = |"Eucalyptus nicholii", Narrow-Leaved Black Peppermint, "Willow Peppermint" is a small to medium sized tree with persistent, rough bark to small branches. The bark is fibrous, coarsely fissured longitudinally, yellowish-brown to grey-brown with red-brown underlayers.
Adult leaves are stalked, narrow-lanceolate, to 13-12 cm long, 1 cm wide, concolorous and dull, grey-green.
White flowers appear in late summer to early autumn.
Distribution is of limited occurrence on the
Northern Tablelands, New South Wales , particularly in the Walcha, to Tenterfield, area and to the east. This tree is very widely planted as an ornamental in south-eastern Australia, the fine, dense foliage being particularly attractive. [Brooker, M.I.H. & Kleinig, D.A.
