-|Kirrak was a railway branch line, it was built in the 1930's to service the Kirrak Coal mine located near the town of
Wonthaggi . The branch line operated until 1968, the short section of line was closed after the closure of the mine. For a period after the closure the Monash Railway club ran a 153hp Walker Railcar along the track.External links
