1971 , Florida TransitManagement, Inc. began service with 20 buseson seven routes. In1980 , this service was renamed CoTran, short for "County Transportation". Finally, in1996 , CoTran was renamed Palm Tran and has been that way since. At that time the livery of the buses was changed from white and orange to white and teal.ystem Map
