At the end of 19th century, the brothers Ernest and Henri Maus and their former customer Léon Nordmann started a joint business in the bilingual Swiss city of
Biel . In 1902, the three co-founders opened a department store called "Léon Nordmann" in Weggisstrasse,Lucerne . This is generally regarded as the prototype of today's Manor AG group.Major business
