Department of Education (Northern Ireland) inspection carried out in November 1999 found that "climate of care and mutual respect permeates the life of the school. The teachers place a sensitive and effective emphasis on the development and maintenance of positive values and relationships at all levels. The children are courteous and co-operate willingly with their teachers and with one another; their behaviour is excellent and they enjoy their learning".
