The original genesis for Klocwork’s technology started inside Nortel Networks to address internal requirements for large scale code analysis capabilities to optimize software architecture for C code. This project evolved into Klocwork’s first commercial static analysis product, an architecture tool for use in complex code optimization and re-engineering efforts. The company followed this product with the introduction of bug and security vulnerability detection capabilities, software metrics tools, and support for additional languages including C, C++ and Java.
