- Adršpach-Teplice Rocks
The Adršpach-Teplice Rocks ( _cs. Adršpašskoteplické skály) are an unusual set of
sandstone rock formations, covering an area of 17 km² in northeasternBohemia ,Czech Republic . They are named after two nearby municipalities:Adršpach andTeplice nad Metují . The rocks have been protected as a nationalnature reserve since 1933 and the whole adjacent region ofBroumov sko has a status of protected landscape area since 1991.Tourist may visit them on a number of marked trails. The area is also a popular destination for rock climbers.In recent years, it has become somewhat of a focus for the high risk climbing-related sport of
