Brian Cappelletto (born 1969) is a
Scrabble player who represents theUnited States in international competition. He was the runner-up at the inauguralWorld Scrabble Championship in 1991 and won the event in 2001. He has since appeared at the Championship a further ten times, finishing in the top 3 on two occasions in addition to his 1998 victory. He has not appeared at the World Championship since winning it in 2001. Domestically, he is currently rated 1974, placing him top in Illinois and fourth overall.
