BBC Radio science fiction serial written byCharles Chilton which ran for two years, a sequel to the 1950s serialJourney Into Space . Both series were composed of six episodes and starred Barry Foster,Nigel Stock ,Nicky Henson andTony Osoba .The series was initially to have been a continuation of Journey into Space, using the cast who'd just made a one-off revival of that series, The Return from Mars. This idea was dropped late in the day, and the four characters are noticeably renamed versions of the Journey into Space quartet, while Henson's character Chipper is stated to be the grandson of Lemmy from Journey into Space.
