Lynn Fischer is an author and TV host
Lynn Fischer, born Lynn Connor in Detroit, Michigan in 1942 was Miss New York, on the cover of Esquire Magazine, Playboy Magazine, TV Guide, Women's World, under movie contract to Howard Hughes and was the first women (of two) to attend the Harvard Business School PMD program for young managers in 1970. In the 1990's she appeard as host and co-producer as the "Low Cholesterol Gourmet" for The Discovery Channel.
Fischer has authored 7 healthy cooking books including "Lowfat Cooking for Dummies," "Healthy Indulgences" and five others with nearly 1,000,000 books in print.
Her father Addison D. Connor was an attorney, her mother Mary Connor won the US Open in badminton. She is a decesendent of Rowland M. Connor a Unitarian minister and sufferagette leader in the mid 1800's.
Lynn Fischer is a voice actor.
