Battle Royale (disambiguation)

Battle Royale (disambiguation)

Battle Royal directly means “Battle”: a fight (as entertainment), “Royal”: fit for the royalty. It is referred to as a match between more that two combatants that “fight to the death” (Deathmatch) or until “the last man standing” were the last combatant wins. A common example is the Gladiator fights in the Roman Games, but this predates the term. The misuse of the term refers to: chaotic, anarchy, cacophony.
