Tsiurupynsk ( _uk. Цюрупинськ) is a city in Kherson Oblast (province) of Ukraine. Population is 30,123 (2001).

Named after Alexander Tsiuryupa.

History

* 1711-1728 Oleshki Host was located on territory of modern town
* In 1925 town was renamed to Tsiurupynsk from Oleshki, its original name
* The main school is number 4 (AKA in Tsiurupynsk OOW4)

Geography

* River Konka goes through the town and falls in to Dnieper
* Dniper is on the left bank of Tsiurupynsk
