Blufr

Launched on July 2, 2006, blufr is an online trivia game in which players have to decide if the statements – called blufs – are true or false. After they choose their answer by clicking on "way" or "no way," the correct answer is displayed, along with links to relevant topics in Answers.com, the creator of the game. Players can keep score and see how they fare against other top contenders in the game.

Players are also encouraged to challenge their friends by sending blufs by email or adding them as content to their own personal websites and blogs.

Some examples include:

# Neanderthals had larger brains than do modern human beings.
# Regis Philbin holds the record for time spent on television.
# The total combined weight of the world's ant population is heavier than the weight of the human population.
# Attila the Hun died by tripping on his own sword.(1, 2 and 3 are true. 4 is false.)

Answers.com launched blufr as an alternative way to learn about the millions of topics it covers, using an entertaining style, as opposed to traditional reference look-up techniques.
