Jörg Schilling is a
computer programmer who has worked extensively on compact disc burning software, theSolaris Operating System and theOpenSolaris project. He studied originally as an electrical engineer at theTechnical University of Berlin . CD burning software culminated in thecdrtools package, which includes "cdrecord" and the ancillary programs "mkisofs" and "cdda2wav". This package supports most CD/DVD/BluRay recorders and runs on most operating systems.References
