Ed Indelicato is a fictional police officer in Boston, and a supporting character in the Wonder Woman comic.

Character History

Boston police inspector Ed Indelicato and his partner Lt. Michael Shands first met Princess Diana while investigating the Silver Swan.

Indelicato's street savvy offsets Wonder Woman's natural naiveté. Both see the same problems in society, but they have their own individual solutions: while Indelicato chases those who prey on innocents, Diana is more concerned with helping crime's victims. Indelicato, a true hard-boiled cop, often questions Diana's idealism and makes her confront the harsh reality of crime in the streets. What Diana doesn't realize is that Indelicato has a slight crush on her, one that could tum into some stronger relationship if he weren't constantly challenging her idealistic attitudes and beliefs.
