The station is currently owned by the Walt Disney Company and features programing from Radio Disney. The station went on the air as KXOA in 1945. The call letters were changed to KNDE in 1970 after KXOA AM and FM were sold to separate owners. On 1978-09-28, the station changed its call sign to KXOA which broadcasted on 1470 AM for the most part in various incarnations since 1945. On 1997-04-15 the call sign was changed to KQPT. On 1998-07-16 to KOME. On 1999-01-15 to KRAK. On 2001-02-19 to the current KIID along with the sale to Disney and switch to a Radio Disney format.
