fictional super villain team in theMarvel Comics Universe , comprised of female mutant terrorists. They were formed by Cyber to commit acts ofextortion , and worked for a notoriousdrug cartel . Shrew eventually quit the team and agreed totestify against the cartel for immunity. The Belles, upon discovering their former teammate's betrayal, sought out to kill Shrew. The government then placed Shrew under the protection of X-Factor. The Belles ambushed X-Factor in a hotel, and in the ensuing battle, Briquette knockedStrong Guy through the ground into the basement, where she then proceeded to force the boiler to explode. Both X-Factor and Hell's Belles fled, but met up again, this time X-Factor overpowering the Belles and taking them into custody. After Decimation, Flambè, Tremolo, and Vague were all depowered. Briquette is the only member of the Hell's Belles that possibly retains her mutant powers.Members
*Flambè - Leader of the Hell's Belles and has the ability to breathe fire with the assistance of a fire poker. She was depowered after Decimation.
*Briquette - Malicious woman with super-strength, endurance, and molten lava-hot skin. She liked to do things her own way, and hated taking orders from others. During each confrontation with X-Factor, Briquette would face off against Strong Guy.
*Tremolo - A muscular woman that could project sonic waves and fly. She often bullied others into doing what she wanted, especially Shrew. She has the tendency to be overconfident in her powers. She was depowered after Decimation.
*Vague - Slightly ditzy young girl that could turn invisible and fly. Her limited abilities make her the weakest of the group, and she often fled after her presence was discovered. She was depowered after Decimation.
