Carlos Jesús García Guerrero (born October 15, 1967 in Táchira State, Venezuela), best known as Carlos García, is a former Major League Baseball second baseman and right-handed batter who played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1990-96), Toronto Blue Jays (1997), Anaheim Angels (1998) and San Diego Padres (1999).

For nearly three seasons, García had been sitting at the Pirates' AAA Buffalo farm team waiting for his chance to play in the major leagues. He had nothing left to prove in the minors. García had his best season yet at Buffalo in 1992, batting .303, with 13 home runs and 70 runs batted in.

An outstanding shortstop with great range and a strong arm, with the Pirates' trade of José Lind, and Jay Bell entrenched at shortstop, García took an opportunity at second base. He enjoyed his best seasons in 1995-96 batting for .294 and .285.

In 610-games career, García hit for .266 (580-2178), with 73 homers, 197 RBI, 274 runs scored, 102 doubles, 17 triples and 73 stolen bases.

He is currently the Infield Coordinator for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
