"The Grand Conjuration" is a promotional single from Opeth's eighth studio album, "Ghost Reveries". The single features an edited version of "The Grand Conjuration" for use on radio.

Video

A video featuring the edited version of the song was made for use on television. The video was directed by Bill Yukich and features Gene Hoglan on drums. The video had a mixed reception. Former bandmember Peter Lindgren had this to say about it in an interview with The Metal Forge [http://www.themetalforge.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=260] :

"The whole situation was so chaotic, in the end we just decided to go down to the shoot, get the footage of us all filmed and simply fuck off. And I think the final result is in accordance to that. We didn't have a clue as to what was going on, and I don't even like it how it turned out. It doesn't have anything to do with the music, or even the lyrics."
