metalcore band fromChicago . The band broke up in 2002. Members of the band werePeter Wentz (vocals, now bassist inFall Out Boy ),Tim McIlrath (Bass, now lead singer ofRise Against ),Jay Jancetic (Guitar, now plays guitar for the Chicago band Holy Roman Empire), Daniel Binaei (Guitarist), Adam Bishop (Guitarist, now an English teacher at Liberty High School inBakersfield ,California ), andTimothy Miller (Drums). After Tim quit to form
Rise Against , he was replaced in 1999 byChristopher Gutierrez (also known as HeyChris or deadxstop, who is now a publishedauthor ). Gutierrez left the band to pursue a career as a hair stylist in Chicago, and was replaced as bassist in the winter of 1999-2000 byJoseph Trohman (now a guitarist inFall Out Boy with Peter Wentz). Trohman was tortured and "hazed" by the older members of the band, and left in January of 2000 due to this - only to be replaced once again by Gutierrez. In the last Arma Angelus concert,
Patrick Stump played drums, Pete Wentz sang,Joe Trohman playedguitar along with Adam Bishop onguitar , and Christopher Gutierrez on bass. All three (Patrick, Pete, & Joe) are now inFall Out Boy together.Raid
At one of the earlier gigs, a homosexual group who called themselves the
Happy Ninjas raided and kept asking forPete Wentz . Once all parties involved discussed what was supposed to be happening, it was worked out someone had pulled aprank on them all and gave misleading information, and the Happy Ninjas left so Arma Angelus could continue their gig.Discography
