Robert Calvin Butler (born May 28, 1959 in Boynton Beach, Florida), is a former professional American football player.

Pro career

Butler was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the 1st round (25th overall) of the 1981 NFL Draft. A 5'11", 180-lb. cornerback, Butler played in 12 NFL seasons and his entire career with the Falcons from 1981 to 1992. Bulter's peak performance in his career came during his rookie season when he intercepted 5 passes for 86 yards.

College career

Butler played college football at Florida State.

High School Career

Bobby Buttler also attended Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach Florida and graduated in 1977. He led the War Eagles to the state championship game in 1976 and he was the first person from Atlantic High School to go to the NFL.

Personal

He has a wife named Cyrillyn and four sons; Brenton, Brice, Breland and Brandel. Brenton plays basketball at Fordham University, while Brice is a wide receiver at USC.
