Anant D. Adawadkar

Dr. Anant D. Adawadkar (b. November 1936 in Khamgaon of Vidarbha, Maharashtra, India) studied Marathi Literature privately, while working as a school teacher. He served as a Professor in Marathi in Akola and worked for All India Radio at Nagpur, Panaji, Pune and Yeotmal. He authored books on Vinoba Bhave (his subject for PhD) and edited number of Marathi books. He is considered an authority on Marathi Saint-Literature and specifically Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Swami Vivekananda.
