Hugh Harris (born 19 July 1987, age 21) is the guitarist of British indie rock band The Kooks. He generally plays a Gibson ES 335 or a Duesenberg Starplayer TV in Vintage White. He also provides backing vocals for The Kooks. During the late 90s he was a guitarist in Soul Solid. Prior to this he was in Three Hoods and a Ginger and People Like Funk.

Hugh attended the Brighton Institute of Modern Music, where he first met his fellow bandmates.

He is also the writer of the song "Gap" on the Kook's new album Konk. A song he wrote after the death of his father.
