Farnese is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about 100 km northwest of Rome and about 35 km northwest of Viterbo.

Farnese borders the following municipalities: Ischia di Castro, Pitigliano, Valentano.
