- Hisham Shreidi
Hisham Shreidi lived in the
Palestinian refugee camp ofAin al-Hilweh inLebanon and was the founder ofsunni extremist groupOsbat al-Ansar . However in 1986 he was expelled due to his alleged ties withIran . In 1990 Shreidi and his group supported a failed uprising against theal-Fatah militia which dominated Ain al-Hilweh. His position in Osbat al-Ansar was succeeded byAbu Mohjen . His two sonsAbdullah Shreidi andMohammed Shreidi were also later assassinated apparently by al-Fatah.
