World Boxing Union

World Boxing Union

:"WBU redirects here."The World Boxing Union (WBU) is a lightly regarded boxing sanctioning body whose "world champions" often lack widespread recognition. WBU titles are often a stepping-stone for fighters who progress to other titles.

In recent years many of their title fights have taken place under the promotion of British promoter Frank Warren's Sports Network. They do not have mandatory challengers for their world titles.
