Gavin Dykes

Gavin Dykes

Gavin Dykes (born 2 October 1967, Sligo) was a defensive footballer who played for numerous League of Ireland clubs, including Sligo Rovers, Finn Harps and Derry City F.C.. In 1994 he captained Sligo to an FAI Cup win.

He also managed Harps and Derry [http://www.derrycityfc.net/club/managers/] .

Dykes marked a return to management when he took up the post at Castlebar Celtic of the Mayo Senior League [http://www.castlebarceltic.com/default.asp?nc=4796&id=504] . He appeared for Castlebar against Shamrock Rovers in the FAI Cup in May 2006.
