Iris is a Texas-based synthpop band, originally named Forgiving Iris. The current members are Andrew Sega and Reagan Jones.

Biography

The band was initiated in 1993 as Forgiving Iris, with members Reagan Jones (vocals/keyboards) and Matt Morris (keyboards/programming). [http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:jnfoxqekld0e~T1 Iris] at Allmusic] The two had met in college and, influenced by 1980s artists such as Erasure and Depeche Mode, began playing locally in Austin, Texas. In 1999 they released their debut full-length, "Disconnect", which netted them Best Band and Best Album awards at the American Synthpop Awards in 2000.
