G. H. Pember

George Hawkins Pember (1837- 1910), known as G. H. Pember was an English theologian.

In 1856, he studied at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. He gained B.A. in his studies about the Classics, and his M.A. in 1863. After becoming a Christian, he wrote many books, such as:
* "Animals: Their Past and Future"
* "The Antichrist Babylon and the Coming of the Kingdom"
* "The Great Prophecies of the centuries concerning Israel and the Gentiles"
* "The Lord’s Command. A few words on baptism in the form of a reply to a pamphlet entitled "Baptism: pouring on or dipping in?"
* "Mystery Babylon the Great and The Mysteries and Catholicism : an exposition of Revelation 17 and 18 and An Account of the Rise of the Roman Catholic Church under Pagan Influences"
* "Earth Earliest's Ages, and Their Connection with Modern Spiritualism and Theosophy" (1876) – reckoned by some as his masterpiece.
* "The church the churches and the mysteries, of revelation and corruption", (1901)He died in 1910 aged 73.
